 Bill Clinton Vr's President Bush

Bill Clinton had 8 years to deal with the terrorist, where as President Bush had 8 months.    Bill Clinton was offered 4 times Osama Bin Laden and passed.  Had he taken Osama Bin Laden the World Trade Centers would still be standing and most of all there would be no casualty.  Richard Clark comes out with a book against President Bush administration when under Bill Clinton the US Cole was bombed, you had the Millennium Plots, World trade center was bombed, and Anthony Lake Advisor to Clinton, Warren Christopher Secretary of State, Sandy Berger and Madeline Albright were all aware of Osama Bin Laden along with Richard Clark at the time head of taking down the Terrorist.  Bill Clinton and his administration has to take responsibility for his direct quotes that Saddam Hussein had WMD and the capability of using them.  He even went so far as to bomb a milk factory in Iraq.   Dick Clark puts out a book that is primary fiction.   General Wesley Clark is talking about How President Bush failed to go after Al Qaida but General Wesley Clark is in it for political reasons only.  People ask your self why Dick Clark did not do anything under Bill Clinton administration, but yet blames President Bush and his administration.  Could it be that Richard Clarke did not get the Home Land Security position he wanted and then resigned.. 

President should be non partisan.  Telling the committee that Clinton administration had greater urgency to fight terrorism than President Bush is disgraceful when Clinton had 8 years vr's President Bush 8 months. Clinton had a failure of leadership and a little on President Bush but again he only 8 months.

Bob Kerry attacked FNC for allowing you to hear Richard Clarke praise Bush and criticize Clinton That was in Aug 2002.  Now Clarke says the opposite in his New book is Richard Clarke playing Politics Here?  First, He says Bush is doing better than Clinton on terrorism, then he says that's not true.  Now here is Clarke's statement about the Bush terror strategy 19 months ago

"In the first week in February, uh decided in principle, uh in the spring to add to the existing Clinton strategy, and to increase CIA resources, for example for covert action, five-fold, to go after Al Qaeda." "and then changed the strategy from one of rollback with al Qaeda over the course of 5 years, which it had been, to a new strategy that called the rapid elimination of al Qaeda

Fox Correspondent Jim Angle cleared that tape of Clarke with the Feds - but Bob Kerry was outraged.  Kerrey's objections are nonsense and Fox News is in the right.  Both President Bush and Clinton were not proactive enough in confronting Al Qaeda.

Richard Clark behavior is disgraceful.  No National Security Official should write a book and then put down the President.  Richard Clark or any National Security Official serving the
